For community night we are talking Myers Briggs. We're all taking the test, and then chatting about it over Pumpkin Lasagna and laughs. I took my test, and as some of you know, I'm an ENFJ. A little E a LOT N, a little F and barely J.
Here's some things about me:
"ENFJs are people-focused individuals. They live in the world of people possibilities. More so than any other type, they have excellent people skills. They understand and care about people, and have a special talent for bringing out the best in others. ENFJ's main interest in life is giving love, support, and a good time to other people. They are focused on understanding, supporting, and encouraging others. They make things happen for people, and get their best personal satisfaction from this."...aw, that's sweet...or:
"They have a tendency to be fussy, especially with their home environments...The ENFJ may feel quite lonely even when surrounded by people. This feeling of aloneness may be exacerbated by the tendency to not reveal their true selves."
So, what are you? Take it and let me know!
first one i took, that you posted, had me at ENTJ. Then i took the same one again, and it gave me INTJ, but only the I and the J were strong. Then I took one on another site and it gave me INTP. so basically, all that stays stable is N and T, which makes sense. Because I am very, very Intuitive and very, very Thinky. ("Am I bored by reading theoretical books?")
ReplyDeletebut am i an introvert or extrovert? who knows. i love people, and i love being with people, but i love taking walks and also people make me exhausted. but at least with this one i understand the tension, and why it flip flops, based on the questions. but judging versus perceiving? who has a clue!!! i tend to lean judging, but... there's so much of perceiving that's me, too.
so. that is that. at least we know that i am NT.
INTJ through and through! I have a lot of fun with the M-B test...It helps me analyze people. ;)
ReplyDelete- Katie H.
yeah, i do come up as an ENFP sometimes. I'm 1% J when I am a J. I'm 30% E but I'm NF through and through! especially F. Asher, that's where we are most different I think.
ReplyDeleteKatie - I miss you! you were a wonderful introvert on our trip. How are you? Will you email me a bit about your life? (rhorner@cc-md.org)
